Asking price? What year? Records of all work done? How clean is it?
These are things people need to know to answer your question.
I bought my 2GS with 133K on it. GS430. It's at about 163k right now with standard maintenance. Aside from meh gas mileage, the car runs like a top.

I just bought a '99 with 140k and it drives like a brand new car.
Make sure the timing belt has been done and ask for any maintenance receipts they have. If it drives fine and looks like it's been well taken care of, you should be fine for many miles. Just keep up on preventative maintenance.

$7500 for an '04 is a pretty good price if it is clean and original. You should have no problem running it for at least another five years with regular maintenance and a few key parts like ball joints, timing belt, control arms. Budget about $1500-2K over the next few years on these items and the car will last you a long time. You wont drive a better car for your investment.

i bought my 04 GS for $5,500
130k
after buying it i spent $800 giving it a major Tune-Up
its a must when buying a used car!!!!!!
Flush- all fluids,
timing belt
water pump
thermostat,
replaced all gaskets,
spark plugs,
fuel filter,
Now (5yrs) later the car has 2500k miles on it
and haven't had to do anything to it other than regular oil change,

I have 192,000 miles on my 2002 gs300 and it runs perfectly. Common problem on these cars is the ball joints so check them out if you can. I bought my car with 170K miles for $5000 after taxes and registration

If its clean and no obviously sloppy paint work I would DEFINITELY buy it. the 2004 430 is one of the rarest cars besides the 2005 since that was the last year. the 2004 is better then 2001-2003 because they worked out any minor issues the car had as they usually do. I have a 2001 430 and I spent nearly $4,000 on repairs and I love it. It really is a brand new car after replacing the entire suspension and many sensors. Even for the money I spent on repairs plus the price of the car ($12,000) when I bought it almost 4 years ago I can not find a car that drives better, even the newer ones dont. This car is rock solid when everything is new! Drives like a tank!
