Default performance trouble with my GS300

I'm new to the forum, and am having trouble with my car . on Dec 20th my car wouldn't start at first I thought the timing belt broke , (thats how it sounded ) but NO after a while it started . however after a few day of driving it began to idle rough after warmup then i noticed that the VSC on and VSC off light was on and the backup light on as well . what is wrong?:

What codes does it have? Either buy a cheap code reader or go to a FLAPs get them read and report back.

P1349 is the oil control valve. Its either bad or dirty. If it has never been changed or cleaned then it's more than likely on its way out. Search P1349 and you'll see lots of talk about it.

Default problem fixed

UPDATE , I took the OCV apart and cleaned the small filter with carb cleaner, disconnected the neg side of the Batt to clear the faults . Just so happened that the rear light fault was on because I did have a rear light out . Replaced that and all is well in my world again!!!! thank you for your help.
