Default Stalling, hesitance but no error codes and cannot read OBD

Looking for some help please gents/ladies
I've done many searches and read quite a few threads which makes me think it's my TPS which needs replacing but at the same time it's hard to pinpoint the fault, so give the symptoms below;

- Cold start the idle can at times be rough, feeling like a misfire until I give it some revs to about 1300rpm and it smooths out
- Throttle sometimes hesitant where I press down, feels like it takes a second or two before the car reacts
- Press throttle and car doesn't respond then cuts off
- Sometimes when i feel it wanting to stall put into neutral with foot to floor the revs stay at 3k and sounds like it has hit limiter, into drive the car will stall
- VSC lights and Engine light on, these turn off after a little while and the car drives fine again
- Turning car off and back on it tends to fix it, until yesterday where even doing that 10 seconds later it would hop, revs want to cut out, throttle not respond
- Unable to read codes, 4 different OBD readers I have used didn't work, all saying link error
- foot to the floor revs don't change then all of a sudden car will come alive and shoot off
- Unable to replicate the fault when I want

Read a number of threads on here reading on what it can be and can't be but without being able to read the engine code I don't want to start buying parts which I don't need. It's a 98 GS300 with an LPG conversion done with 162k on the clock, I do about 700 miles a week in it.

Car is worth about £1200, not sure if I should just change it for another GS300 or maybe to a GS430, this is my main car and I don't want to spend to much as saving for a wedding later on in the year and also waiting to see if BMW put any offers on the M4 in a few months as my weekend car

Any advice please?

Double check all your fuses first for the "obd link error." It is a common practice in most manufacturers to share this circuit with the lighter/12v outlet and it is a fairly low resistance fuse.

As for the other issues, I'm not sure I could point you in the right direction. Semi-new at this GS game.

Thanks for the reply, I have checked the 12v fuse and it's fine without an issue.. Still cannot link to the OBD though, can I do it manually using cables?

Keen to get the car fixed soon as possible, otherwise may just get the TPS and hope it works in fixing the fault
