Well, I've already scraped the bottom of the spoiler. No matter how careful you are, there are just some places where the angle of attack is just a little too steep pulling into a parking lot. Oh well, at least the scrapes aren't visible.
Getting the front end repainted by a good shop is big bucks. I think my estimate was in the neighborhood of about $3-4k. I made a comprehensive claim on my insurance for this and only had to pay the deductible. Also, the insurance company can't jack-up your rates for comprehensive claims, only collisions. Don't forget to include the cost of renting a car for the 2+ weeks your car will be in the shop. My insurance covered that as well.
If it doesn't rain Sat. I'll wash my car and take some daytime pics.
