DIY Chrome Grill
I have read all this DIY stuff. However, I would like to hear from people that have done the process for:
1. Would they take the grill off?
2. The whole grill, the tops of the up and down ribs only, the tops of the up and down ribs and the cross rib only, and the top of all visable?
3. Would tyou use a Q-tip or artists brush
4. What did you use to take the paint off after the gel paint remover (what brand) did its job
5. Did you rinse the grill afterward?
6. Did you need to use nail polish remover for small stuff
7. Did it automatically shine
8. Does it look good on a gold 99 GS400?
Thanks in advance

I agree with everything Jackco says 1 thru 7.
8. Yes it looks great on gold. Much better than the black. I'll see if I can dig up a pic, since my gold GS is buried in the garage for this hellish winter.
