Default VSC and VSC OFF light's are on! help?

My symptons were:
VSC, VSC OFF, and ENGINE Lights would come on, followed by my car going into "Limp" Mode, where only that last 25% (if that) of the throttle would respond (basically have to floor the pedal to even move at all)!! ThIS happened once today, but im scared its going to get worse!! its deffintly not normal! please help!!

You need to scan your car before any suggestions can be made. The check engine light is there for a reason. Scan it, then come back with the results. Probably wont need to come back, the codes will tell you exactly whats going on. And dont worry about the 10% throttle, I drove mine like that for a month as I waited for the part to come in. Although it does sound like the APPS is bad. I predict codes of p1121 and p1122

Throttle body or throttle sensor above gas pedal would be my guess. As already stated, get the codes. It will help you out a lot.

Unlikely mate and this is talking from experience. I fitted my new throttle controller yesterday and my car went into limp mode because I did something wrong. It threw p1121 and another code relating to the throttle body. Earlier in the year both O2 sensors went on my car and it never went into limp mode, I just had idling issues.

Do some searching as this is being fixed for free at Lexus. This thread towards the end will tell you how to get it done for free.

P1128 and P0136.... the first one is the throttle control motor and the other is an 02 sensor, I dont really feeling like forking out 250$ for the motor anyone know of other places?

I recently had the same problem. Check the code. My problem was solved with a new throttle position sensor. Just don't get the cheap aftermarket one. I believe my mechanic installed an aftermarket one made by the OEM mfg, but it's far less expensive. I'll bet someone here knows what I'm speaking of.
