I have a 99 Lexus Gs300, and I'm doing a interior swap from tan to black. The car I'm getting the interior from is a 05 Lexus Gs300. I was trying to see if everything will work properly after the swap? Like steering wheel, airbags, etc etc?

It should do. Do either of the cars have curtain airbags? I swapped some of the interior over from my 99 to my 02 such as the steering wheel, dash, door cards, etc. The only issue I had was curtain airbags.

Yes. I would imagine everything should work aside from the curtain airbags.
I have a full black interior for sale in case anyone is interested!

Drivers side air bag may be an issue, 99 was a single stage bag and some 01+ were a dual stage. Check the wire connectors and if there are 2 on the new bag it's a dual stage and will be a problem, search for ways around this. I seem to rememeber hearing of some difference in the a pillars as well, could very well be wrong but that'd be another point to look into further.

You're right. The pillars on cars without curtain air bags are thinner and you'll have a big gap where the pillar meets the dash. It's a case of mix and matching parts. If you have a donor car you're laughing. That's how I did it. You can check my built up thread as it's on the first page. I swapped interiors around.
