So after using this sfuff earlier i deiced to try it again cause the first time i used it i clear coated to early and it came out really hazy and ugly. Here's round Dos!
So as stated above I had previously done this before but the effect was really done poorly because i clear coated too soon, and the taillihts looked all hazey and old after the clear coat, so i did them again. I heard that using Goof off takes it off with ease so I used it.
removed all the tailights, using a video on youtube on how to install new taillights.
I masked the reverse lights and applied a coat of VHT Red after wet sanding, clearing the tailights and using alcohol to clean it further.
Nice work! I did mine with the Vans jdm tail light paint. Stuff costs a little more but does the job. Went the extra mile and replaced the blinker and brake bulbs with red less. Nice work looks good like candy!
Thanks, you guys! Got any pics of how your taillights look like now with the jdm stuff?
Here you go bro. Some with the led bulbs in and clicked on...theyre brighter than before with oem bulbs with brakes on. Brakes arent on in this pic lights are just clicked on. A close up too to show finish, just cel phone pics.
