Default Need to replace indicator bulbs

Hey ClubLexus!

I brought the Lexus I purchased to pass emissions and it failed. The MIL indicator has not been coming on, but I failed anyway with P0763: Shift Solenoid C Electrical.

I'm gonna replace it and then get a transmission flush, but my first priority is that there are a couple dash lights out. I just tested the dash lights and it appears that the Check Engine light and the Automatic Headlight Leveling System Warning light are inoperable.

I was trying to search for this information, but I could not find what I am looking for. I found a tutorial on how to remove the instrument cluster but I'm wondering what bulbs I should order to replace them. Also, will I be able to visually inspect the bulbs when the cluster is removed to see all the ones that are out?

Any help would be much appreciated!

And they're pretty easy to access also. There's a DIY on pulling the gauge cluster and accessing them floating around here somewhere. Hope you aren't in for a surprise once you get bulbs in there that work ~fingers crossed

T4's, sweet. Is there a specific volt/wattage I should look for? How about these?:

I found this one for changing the color of your gauges which is something I don't feel the need to do, so I'd just stop about half-way and reverse it. Haha, they pulled that code from emissions (no idea how my transmission has to do with the air quality output of my car), so hopefully that's the only bigger problem this car has. The rear taillight light is triggered by my brakelights, but I haven't been able to pinpoint the bulb that's out. They're the stock taillights, haven't checked a connection either but they work fine.

Another thing I see myself doing soon is getting the suspension almost entirely replaced - I hear a rotating metal noise coming from my front passenger wheel every once in a while, but only at lower speeds. Could be the breaks. I jacked it up to see if it was the wheel bearing but it's not -- I did however get a good look at the ball joints; all of them have a little rust where they meet the body but the lower one on that side looks majorly rusted at the joint, and the upper one on the driver's side has a strange black tar-like substance on the joint. I suspect that the previous owner actually had one go out on him, since on the driver's side wheel well there's a dent in the upper-center lip of both the body and the wheel well that doesn't allow the wheel well to sit flush to the body.

I'm planning on getting both lower ball joints and the steering bushings replaced (there's a shake at 55-60+ MPH and a bit of free play) soon after I get the transmission sorted.

Naw, those are 120v bulbs, thats for home lighting. You need 12v automotive bulbs like these:

Amazon.com: T4.2 2-led White Lights Car Dashboard Instrument Light/ Indicator Light Bulbs Dc 12v (2pcs in Box): Automotive Amazon.com: T4.2 2-led White Lights Car Dashboard Instrument Light/ Indicator Light Bulbs Dc 12v (2pcs in Box): Automotive

I'm not saying ^^ those are the ones, its just an example. You need to remove your cluster and remove the lights to be sure those are even the correct ones. I never assured that they were the correct ones, just saying they're likely the ones.

I dont want you to get them and find out they're the wrong ones
