Yea it's nice, it sits very flush on the upper deck, the only thing that was bad about it is, the nail they use to put the box together were garbage, I blew the box apart twice, I recommend if you were to buy it, to get some wood screw and wood glue to reseal it better

How does the stealth sub box stay in place?

One thing to keep in mind with prefabbed boxes is that all subs have their own ideal box dimensions where they sound best.

For example, 12" Alpine Type R recommends:
sealed box volume: 0.57-1.0 cu. ft.

While a JL 12W7 recommends:
1.375 cu ft.

This is only for sealed. For ported, you can go much deeper, such as port dimensions, length of port to tune what frequencies you want your sub to shine in, etc...

If you order from the seller on ebay, he can build the box dimensions according to your specifications whether sealed or ported to include the port size and length.

I had to use an l bracket and bend it a bit to make it stay in place

One side goes to the box, but where did you screw the other part of the bracket to on the car?

On the 40 degree angle that is in between the bottom deck and the upper deck

OP, what exactly are you looking for, lots of bass or just clean sound? The best enclosure for stealth that I recommend of good sound and pretty good bass (depending on quality of equipment) is just using your stock location and building a box that attaches to the bottom and is the length of the rear deck. Of course prep the deck properly. This will give you a stealth look and allow you to still keep your trunk. Depending how much cutting you want to do to the deck, you could also go as far as porting the box into the cabin as well. This set up is great for quite a few reasons, but one of my favorite reasons is because you'll get no trunk rattle since all the sound it going into the cabin.
Love your response, and it sounds great. Evidently you dont know how to post pictures! Sorry I had too boss!
