Default Driver window control

Idk if this common but i bought my gs a few months ago. And i noticed I could only roll my window down from driverside. none of the windows i can roll down from driverside but from their own door they roll down. So i thought maybe it was just the controls were bad. so i bought another one from a member on here and still doesnt work... What could be the cause of this?

I know on some cars when replacing the window motors you must hold the driver switch and the particular door your programming either up or down. There are other cars that require you to hold the master switch up for 5-10 seconds for the window you're programming... I'd do more research

Check the wiring on the plug going to the lock button on the control, maybe something is shorting out keeping it in the lock position.

Dumb question, but it is in the unlock position right?

Also, the heat damaged the control. But do what Mr. Jokster say, check your unlock and lock button first.
