Default HID to LED

I have factory HID headlights on my 00 GS. They have quite a bit of condensation on the inside of the housing, so I was looking to get some new ones. I've read a lot about converting headlights to HID, but not converting from HID to anything else. Rather than pay top dollar for OEM HID replacements, what would a conversion from HID housing to LED include? And would it be worth it?

Why you do not try these HID that are guaranteed for life. I have them on 10,000K. But if you want to use only original ones, you can only use 6000K. I always used this seller and only one time I need to contact him and he send me another ones with no question. eBay item # 200829775527. Also, you can change it to a LED but you need all kit for it.
Good luck

I need to replace the housing, the bulbs themselves are fine. The housing has become really fogged and replacing them with HID housing isn't really ideal considering price and LEDs seem to look better

What are you actually asking? When you say converting to LED, are you talking the new technology of headlights like on the new Acuras?

I'm wondering if it's possible to change headlights (housing included) to LED from HID, and what is involved

You will most propably be the first one to install a LED system to a GS if you decide to do it.
It will cost you way more than HID system.

I imagine the registration of those lights to road use would be a PIA.

In wisconson we don't have to pass reg.

Could you just get the aftermarket halo lenses for a pair 230 and just get the led lights .

I put the Sylvania 168 leds in the running lights and at night it's a more uniform color with the HID

They aren't what he looking for, he wants LED dipped beams rather than the halogens you have linked to.

@OP what you want is almost impossible, retrofitting the ballasts and heatsinks is a pretty big job and even when that is done the spread pattern on the lights will be way off, you will just dazzle other road users and will have less usable light.
