Steering wheel shaking at 55mph and up
My car was doing that last year. I was going crazy thinking it was or it was that. Anyhow, it ended up being a seized caliper. It use to slowly lock up on me. The front driver caliper. Clean your wheels. Go for a ride and after a few miles driven, check around all 4 tires and see where the brake dust is on the most. If your getting considerably allot of brake dust, it could be a seized caliper. When it starts locking up, it tends to do that. Vibrations at 50-70 mph. I use to drive faster and it use to stop strangely. Let us know if that was it. Good luck bro !!!

Wheel balance, simple. The weights used when balancing aluminum wheels are just stuck on the inside of the wheel and fall off more often than you think. Shakes when driving between 50-70mph are this. Most shops will re-balance for free or cheap because weights fall off.
While there "could" be other causes, 99.99% of the time you experience this a weight just fell off your wheel and you have to have them re-balanced.

Sooooo I went to a tire shop and turns out my driver side tire was super worn and was separating. Bought new tires for the fronts and installed hubcentric rings. Vibrations gone!!! So relieved I didn't have to replace anything else.
