Depo and TYC are the two big manufacturers of aftermarket lighting assemblies, both OEM and "tuner". As with most aftermarket parts made to be cheaper than OEM, the quality is hit or miss. Remember that the OEM Koito non-HID headlamps have a list price of over $500USD (though they are available for a bit less) per side. It should come as no surprise that a product that's less than half the price will have compromises in quality.

I have one aftermarket taillamp (because that's all insurance would pay for), and there is a slight difference in the colour of the amber lense. It's also my second replacement, as the first one provided had a condensation problem right out of the box. So, you get what you pay for.

I just want to share my experience.
Two years ago I bought OEM pre-facelift headlights for my facelifted GS300 (factory HID) from our club parts supplier.

81170-3A472 - DRIVER SIDE HEADLIGHT (HID HEADLAMP)
81130-3A152 - PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT (HID HEADLAMP)
With club discount it was $537 shipped for pair.

This choice was driven by two main reasons:
1. I wanted to get rid of the green tint on my facelifted GS-model. And these are clear lenses!
2. The price was very attractive for OEM. And they are still there, even little less now!

I just needed to transfer a few parts from the original headlights assembly - HID ballasts, level control CPU, bulbs with back covers.
And they fit perfectly on the body - absolutely clean installation, even gaps between the body panels, very soft and nice rubber seals around the perimeter. Like it!
