Welcome, as far as advice goes I would start by replacing to ball joints and tie rods and then get an alignment. If you have the funds change the motor mounts as well. All of these will give you the biggest feel that you will instantly notice. Next step would be a tune up and the control arms and struts and bushings (depending which ones are bad, need to inspect them).

thanks a lot i did an alignment also i was thinking about doing a tune up. The next problem i'm having is with the paint job any places where i can get a good paint job

Any reputable body shop can respray your car, you'll want to do some price checking though. I imagine you'll get price quotes between $1000-5000, so it really depends on how much you want to spend.

Paint isn't going to matter if you don't take care of the MUST do fixes which have already been posted in this thread.

We know nothing of the maintenance history of his car... Maybe the previous owner provided him with a ton of receipts showing all these things were completed.

That said, OP, if you don't have maintenance records, it would be a good idea to address these things before worrying about paint. An ugly car you can drive is way better than a pretty car you can't.

i got all the receipts on everything that was done but i will have to do the tune myself

I suggest looking on yelp in your area for body shops.
