you should always stick with as close to stock size as possible, especially on OE wheels. It will drive much much better....

How long have you had them on your car? Have they worn well for you?
Actually i've got these on my LS as well haha. I like them alot but I cant comment on longevity because i've only had them for 2 months or so.

I purchased 4 Pirelli Cinturato P7 all season plus at WM in April. They were the number one reviewed tire @ TireRack. I too wanted a quiet tire and they are quieter than the Michelins. (Had the all wheel alignment done before installation.) I love them simply because I haven't given them a second thought!

The door sticker on my 2002 GS300 lists 225/55-16 as an alternate size (I assume on the same wheels). You might have a better selection in 55 profile.

Yup! I've had both and the car drives way better and turns better with the wider tires.

Lol it actually drives better due to wider contact patch and less sidewall flex. It isn't as smooth as oe due to the shorter sidewall. My car has some suspension work and oe size would break loose way to easy. With the 245 it handles a lot better but isn't as smooth of a ride .
