Default Center front speaker on 2002 GS300 with ML sound
I have a 2002 GS300 with the Mark Levinson sound system. I notice that there's a speaker in the center of the dash, but it doesn't seem to do very much. What does it do in the ML system?

Center channel just like with a home audio system. Just fills in the sound some more.

In a home theater system there's a processor in the receiver that sends the dialog to the center speaker and the sound effects and music to the front and rear speakers.

I don't think the ML system does that.

Default Dash center speaker Mark Levinson with trim or just trim
I know this thread is old but im loomin for the same trim for my 03 sport design gs and cant seem to find it if anyone know where i can get one let me know preferbably black. Thanks in advance

dont bother replacing the speaker, it will blow again without a proper processor....

i understand... i replaced it back in the day and then when it cracked again and i switched to black interior i made sure i got a dash that DIDN'T have a ML package so it wouldn't have that speaker grill

Yea sucks i got black interior already i dont wanna swap the dash just cuz of a speaker grill lol but i get where u comjng from

Just try to order it and they no longer have or make them anymore
