Default GS300/GS400 rear axle replacement (difficulty level)

Does anyone have a DIY on how to replace a rear axle on a Lexus GS 300/400? It looks fairly straightforward, I'm just wondering how easy it is to get the axle out of the spindol once it is unhooked from the rear diff. If anyone has done this recently, could you please let me know how long it took to you. Thanks

I tried to unhook the axle from the rear diff last summer and for whatever reason it just wouldn't come apart. In theory it should be easy as pie but perhaps 17 years in Canadian winters helped to seize the two mating surfaces together. I might try again when I find an LSD for a good price.

Thanks for your input. I think the cold weather is definitely a major factor.
