This question has been asked dozens of times but nobody has tried it. In theory aftermarket parts should meet or exceed OEM specs but who knows lol

I've already done it. I've bought ebay headlights lens and swapped on to my sportdesign headlights. Fits fine, just have to replace the butyl rubber with new one and firm press around the headlights for proper seal.
