Radiator Replacement
Im looking for a DIY for radiator replacement for 2001 gs300. Looked at the few stickies but none in there for radiator. Also looking to purchase a radiator from Sunbelt Radiators. Has anyone purchase one from this company. Reason from this place.....$55 new....but I know I get what I paid for. But shows 226 people purchased on Ebay.
THanks in Advance,

I got my Denso for around a $100 from Rockauto. I'd go with Denso since it's the oem brand.
-drain the fluid
-remove engine splash guard
-remove fan shroud
- unhook all the lines to the radiator.
-remove top radiator brackets
-pull old radiator

Bro, this is stupid easy, there's a reason why no how to for the radiator up. Get the oem denso radiator from Rockauto, it also comes with the cap. Don't forget to switch over the coolant sensor to the new part, or your fans will be on non stop.

Thank you for the info. Appreciate it. I did get the Denso, and I assume the coolant sensor is on the Radiator where I can unplug it and then take off, or do I take it out completely before removing the radiator.
***Another issue since Im here****
Lately Ive been hearing this noise when I turn the corner or speed up, turn on the AC while I drive. Thought it was the Serpatine belt, so replaced that which caused me break portion of the radiator by the hose, so thats why Im replacing it. But the noise is still there after replacing the belt. Any clue on what it could be??
Again TY for your help. If any of you live in SF, Ill buy you beer and pizza.

The sensor is on the bottom, iirc next to the coolant drain plug. Remove the sensor once the old radiator is out, then transfer to the new. You'll see the new radiator has a black plug, remove and screw the sensor on.
About your other problem, I really don't know. What does the noise sound like? Is it a squeal, high pitch/low pitch? Loud/low whine? Grinding? Do you hear it in park or only in drive. How about when you rev it. You can't go and buy parts to see if it will solve the problem. Diagnosing can save you $$$.

Its almost like grunting/squeal noise. It can happen at times when in park, does happen in reverse as well, and is loud. Its like the sound a car would make if a belt was loose when turning on the ac,

Thank you for the excellent guide. Your clearly labeled pictures really helped.
Now to figure out where the light smoke fumes are coming from. They started while I was burping the system from somewhere near the alternator. Hoping I either place rubber too close to something hot or excess antifreeze that spilled while I filled her up.
Lingering burning smell from the driver side, under the hood after driving the car for about 45 mins.

How about the transmission oil?
There will be some leftover oil in the radiator since there is a built in tranny cooler in there and I have heard that it listens very precise and the transmission oil cant be measured. There isn't a dipstick.

Well, it should say it somewhere my friend, think about it. Perhaps you are from mushimoto
The cap on my original factory radiator does not fit on the mishimoto,
what is the solution?, aside from wasting time trying to find the one that will fit right.
