Trunk Passthrough Retrofit
Anyone know of a retrofit for a passthrough from the rearseat armrest to the trunk for the GS?

I dont think there is one since the gas tank is right behind the back seat

There is no gas tank back there but you have to cut through the leather and a subframe and some rubber sound deader to get through

Don't know why Lexus wouldn't put a passthrough in the GS. It's a nice feature and there's one in the ES and LS.

do wat is between our backseat and our trunk? no gas tank. but a subframe/sound deadening?

the gas tank is under the back seat, behind back seat is a X shaped frame that connects the two strut towers, then there is a body ecu connected to that and it is covered with sound deadening rubber, and then there isthe fabric that covers the interior of the trunk. and also there is some egg crate type material too sandwich inthere.

stevec It seems feasible to do, just have to modify the frame some how good luck.

Sounds like major surgery to retrofit...most likely not worth it. Lexus needs to put one in in the 05 redesign.
