Hey guys I'm new to this forum.
I did some research on retrofitting some Hids on a gs3, but I'm completely lost on a few things.
If I'm going from non-hid to hid, I'll need an hid harness, correct? If I do, would it be better to get the oem harness or get a plug and play kit? Which would be a safer route?
Would the same harness work with the lowbeams and highbeams/drl? Or do they use separate harnesses?
Other than the retrofitted headlights, harness, and hid bulbs, will I be needing anything else to keep my hids and wires healthy?

Are you doing an actual retrofit, or just changing to HID's? Nonetheless, theres nothing difficult about it, just buy a plug and play kit and thats it... plug then play. The only thing though (assuming you have a 99+ GS) the DRL's need to be disabled. Theres a DIY in our DIY thread for this.
