Just wondering on how rare I guess this car would be considered with the black interior and not tan , it was a one owner car , old lady driven and I basically stole it for 1500$ Canadian needed some minor body work but currently getting a fresh coat of cinnabar peral

First, welcome to the club
Second, I see that combination before because I was looking for a black interior on my first 2GS. The first one that I was see in that combination, the car was 2004. So, is no to many on that combination color but is a nice combination.
Third, You really stole that GS, no mare what you need to pay to fix a few minor issue. Enjoy now, that is the more important

Hate to say it, but I find it hard to believe it is original. These are the colors & years that black interior was available.

It's all original for sure, colour code in the door is 3n1 and the interior is in mint condition and has never been messed with , we have four of these car , my dads is the same as mine but 1998 Cinnabar peral black interior/218,xxxkm also my friends 98 imperial jade mica 236,xxx but with the tan interior ... Paid 950$cnd and matching car to his for parts. 281,xxx We got for 650$cnd. We love our 2GS's, but the question remains for me and that how rare would this cinnabar 2000gs with the black interior be?

Hi and sorry for jump in this thread again. Thomas, maybe in Canada the interior color option are different to the USA cars. I have the best example of that. A few months ago I bought a Toyota Corolla Sport 2003. The Corolla inside is Leather Seat, Door Panels in Leather, Soonroof, Spoiler on Trunk with brake light plus 3er brake light inside the rear window. Is a rare car and these is not many around in USA. I could also say, that I stole from a old lady and I don't knowing that the car is a rare car. After I bought it, I have to go to the dealer to check the air bags system because have I re call. The customer service guy, could not find the info of my corolla and he call the manager that have access on his computer for all toyota cars on the world and he found the information of my corolla Sport and he told me that I had the luck to have one of rare corolla in USA. The next question of the manager was, I want to buy that corolla from you? I say NOP. That baby have only 85,xxx miles on it and that way the manager also want it. Still under warranty no mare the year of the car. I'm really luck with this corolla. FourGS300, you are maybe one of the luck one with that GS. Again, just enjoy.

Could be, aren't the production years slightly off as well? Like here in the States the 2nd gen GS is from 98-05 but other markets its 99-06...

I know there is a guy here with a Cinnabar GS430 with black interior, stock. Super rare, but I think he imported it. If only I could find one
