i have check blue book but could someone help me out on the fair price of selling my GS430
I realize seller want to sell higher but buyer want to buy low, but please give me a fair estimate if you were the buyer

2002 GS430 with every option (ML premiun, power seat, nav power roof, spoiler, factory chrome 17,etc)
with around 30,000 km, in great condition (wash and wax weekly)
mods i have so far,
Tien HA coilover
Greddy exhaust
WR intake with cold air box
TRD sway
Focal 135 W uptopia speaker
Mcintosh 505 amp
crystal line signal enchaner (plus 1guage power wire, gound wire, etc just some other little stuffs to make the sysem work nicely)

do you feel selling this car at $43,000 USD is fair? or too much?

I can sell the parts too, if you live in canada and interetsed PM me.

My gut feel is that it's too much. You can buy a brand new one loaded up for about $50K, and despite the money you've put into those mods IN GENERAL they will actually reduce the value of the car due to worries about reliability, voided warranties, etc. Then again if you can find a buyer who knows you and the way you pamper your car, maybe you can get some of that investment back.

What did the Blue Book tell you?

You are almost always better off if you return the car to stock and sell the parts. If you don't return the car to stock, you will greatly reduce the market of people who would be willing to puchase your car.

digital_wu:
seems like you are asking for selling advice rather than actually trying to sell on this forum. I just think this is a good time to refresh our Classifieds/Selling Guidelines, should you wish to actually list your car/parts for sale (in the classifieds, of course).

Forum Rules state:
Members should be aware that when placing an item for sale on ClubLexus in the classified area, or when purchasing an item that was posted in the aforementioned area, there is a "buy/sell at your own risk" policy in effect. Items posted without prices may be deleted at any time. ClubLexus is in no way responsible for any transactions that take place as result of a posting on this site. If there is a problem, it needs to be privately resolved between the parties and ClubLexus will not get involved.

For every item, please post a description (condition, part number, color, etc.) and a price. No auction style topics are allowed, for example:

Private Message me your offer.
Linking to any auction site.

thank you everyone, and have a nice day.

Kelly Blue Book suggests a 'private party' price of $39,140 USD for a loaded 02 GS430 with 18,000M (30,000Km). You need to find someone who appreciates all the mods that you installed to get $43,000 USD.
