Is there just not any/enough benefit on stopping power for the rear?

The front brakes do the majority of the work, so a rear upgrade won't make nearly as much of a difference apart from aesthetics. While the Supra TT rear rotor is larger, the caliper is still a dual-piston design like the stock GS rear caliper. I'd also be unsure if the Supra TT's rear rotor hat dimensions are a good fit with the GS's parking brake assembly.

The TT rear calipers have a different bolt pattern than the fronts and will not fit without a custom made adapter. As far as the parking brake, I bought a TT rear rotor a I tried on my car. The inner diameter is exactly the same as the GS so the parking brake will work with no issues at all. Its not really a big upgrade since its only marginally larger than factory and its a lot of work to make the caliper fit.

Does anyone have pics of a GS with stock wheels + TT calipers (+15mm spacer on the front) ? Stock height or lowered.

Thanks

I just read this thread, and I didn't know about the Supra 4-pot brake caliper upgrade! In an effort to pay it forward, here are Toyota part numbers I pulled for a 1998 TOYOTA SUPRA TT (JZA80L-AJFVZA):

Front Left
Caliper Assy: 47750-14270
Rotor: 43516-14030
Dust Cover: 47782-14160

Front Right:
Caliper Assy: 47730-14260
Rotor: 43512-14200
Dust Cover: 47781-14160

Caliper Guide Pin: 90240-06019

You can also just get oem dust shields for a twin turbo supra if you don't wanna trim or remove stock shield.
Where would one acquire these days dust sheilds? Because cutting has always seem like defeating the purpose of the "dust shield" which is actually designed to pull air in from the front bumper, and undercarriage which are both designed left/ right as air ducting systems for the brakes while also doing double duty as a downforce mechanism.

Are you in Virginia? If so what part of you don't mind me asking? It's hard for me to find people in Richmond/ Central area with knowledge on the 2nd gen platform, far as aftermarket things, like simple things such as aligning adjustable suspension, etc.
