Default new to forum with a GS 430!!

Actually its my dads more than mine...

Heres the lowdown....
My family has owned nothing but Toys and Lex's for ever

Mom used to drive a black 94 LS400....Sold that last month with 90,000miles.
Dad used to drive an 00 4Rrunner which is now mine!! This our 3rd 4runner
Now my dad just an 02 Lexus GS 430(17inch rims...GPS...black on black)

I've always loved the looks of the GS when I saw them driving around, but didnt know much about em. We test drive them and absolutely loved them. I love that sporty/luxury theme! And its a rocket too!
I'm sure the GS is not the fastest car out there but comming from a 4wd 4runner its fast and its smooth!

Ive been talking him into getting some biggers rims, perhaps some 18inchers. The stock 17's are very nice also!

Anyways...just wanted to say hello and I will post some pictures as soon as possible.

Thanks a ton!

The ML system is awesome...when I have buddies in the car they think its an expensive aftermarket system but its stock. This ML system has to be the BEST STOCK system out there!

And the GPS has saved my butt many times! I love messing around with it.

Man, isn't that the truth. I bought my car and wasn't planning on doing anything to it except a Video Nav Conversion and once you start on one small thing it's like heroin. The more you modify, the more you want to continue to modify. Oh well.

I know.. But I think my GS is ALMOST finished.. I only have few more things I can do to it...

But as for the ML and Nav, my GS doesn't have it but my RX does.. And yeah it's phenomenal for a stock system...

Welcome to ClubLexis! If you love cars, expecially Lexus cars, you will love this site. I have a 2001 GS430, black on black, 17" stock 5-spoke alloys, ML and NAV, basically the same car as yours. I upgraded the tires to 245s front, 255s rear, added the L-tuned springs & shocks, TRD Sportivo stabilizer bars, and Borla exhaust tips. I'm an engineer and probably older than your dad, so it's not too late for him to MOD!
