As the title states, my hood wont close.

I have to go inside my car and force the steel cable forward to release some tension on the hood release.

I have used wd40 and other lubes but its still sticking.

Any thoughts?

You could replace the hood release cable.

I had this same issue on my old GS300. It is impossible to lubricate the entire cable, it could be sticking at any point along the way.

yup like 7 years ago and i didnt make a new thread for it like you have for every issue that arises... i searched, found a thread, and then posted in it
