Thumbs up Maintenance Musts on a newly acquired 2000 GS400

Hey guys! I recently bought a used 2000 GS400 platinum edition with about 214k miles on it. It is silver with a black interior. The body wasn't in the best shape, but the engine appears to still purr nicely. I had a few concerns. The engine has a sticker stating the timing belt was changed at approx 105k miles, in 2007. How soon should I worry about changing the belt? Any particular kit you guys recommend? I just want the car to last me another 80k or so miles. Also, I bought new ball joints, tie rod ends and new bushings for the upper and lower front arms. Anything else I should be worried about replacing now?

Almost exact mileage as mine, I have a '99 GS400 with 216k. Most recently I've done the motor and transmission mounts and it feels a lot smoother (you'll feel a slight vibration just as you pass 2,200 RPM in any gear if you need them).

My first TB/WP change was at 120k, this time I'll have it done at 220k which should be sometime in the next few months.

I was lamenting to the dealer service rep recently that my car was getting up there in age and he said I wasn't even close. He had one come in the other day with almost 400k on the odometer. I plan on keeping mine for the foreseeable future. There is simply nothing else out there I want to drive.

Well, I bought this car at auction and it has severe suspension issues currently so i'm trying not to drive it much until I get the new parts installed. I am not afraid of high mileage vehicles and I hope to keep this car as long as possible. I was driving a 2000 Honda Accord with 301k miles until a lady pulled out in front of me and I t-boned her. It is actually still drive-able, but I decided to upgrade a little.

You should check your caster arm (lower control arm #2) bushings as well.

I purchased these bushings by Roca:
RC-666092 - Front Lower.
RC-666091 - Front Upper.

To be honest, i'm not 100% as to what all the suspension parts are called/labeled. I've tried to search to locate a diagram on here for the front suspension with no success. Are these the front upper and lower arm bushings? Where can I find the caster arm bushings?

I found this diagram on lexusofomahaparts website. Is this accurate ?

Do you mind looking at these bushings that I purchased and tell me if they are the ones that I need?

Call FIGS Engineering and order the polyurethane caster arm #2 bushings! He will help you out.. great product and will never need to be replaced again. I recommend this upgrade to anyone with a GS

My 99 GS has 128k miles on it and Lexus recommended that I get the timing belt at water pump replaced for that amount of miles. Maybe that will give you an idea when you should replace your timing bet

The second link u posted have them, they are the one on the left in the picture and the one on the right is for lca#1. It looks like each box has the bushings for one side. I don't have any experience with rocca brand but I know a lot of people here have them. I have the figs bushings that were mentioned above, and they are great.
