Ya I realized that after looking at some threads on a different auto forum, so I have ordered OEM Denso sensors and we will see.

There is no separate harness for the knock sensors on a 2GS (v8 anyway, not sure about 6cyl), so not sure what they changed.
I'm not convinced my knock sensors were even bad in the first place, and I'm not concerned with the fact that I didn't replace them with OEM units because I'm still having the exact same problem. When a knock sensor goes bad, it's bad, it doesn't go back and forth between working perfectly and then not working at all. Something else is causing my knock sensor codes to show up. The only other thing I can think of is wiring, but I saw no questionable wiring or connections and since there is no harness to replace, I'm kinda at a loss of what to do.

So I got my OEM Denso knock sensors in the mail today. One thing I noticed is that my original sensors have a hole in the end, and my new ones do not. Has anyone else ever noticed this? I seem to have seen pictures on the web of both. The knockoff eBay ones I ordered the first time also don't have holes.

Lol I've had these almost 10 years now. Although the original movie is where I got the idea from, it's less about the movie, more about what it means to "verify" "equality"

It's got the Denso logo around the top by the connector. No markings on the side like I have seen in pictures.

Veritas - Truth
Aequitas - Justice
However, the actual English words that were derived from them are:
Veritas - Verify
Aequitas - Equality
They mean the same thing, it's just that
Truth and justice just make more sense out of context.

I replaced mine with another set of Matsu****a's if i recall the spelling, I did purchase an after market knock sensor but didn't bother, never had the codes pop up ever again and just left the factory ones in there, when I came across this code everyone was very persistent on using the factory brand knock sensors as the cars are very picky with them.
