Default Location of Oxygen Sensor - Bank 2, Sensor 1

I am going to attempt to replace my oxygen sensor for my 2003 GS300 which is getting a VSC and Check engine light. I have had the lights on for months and have had no problems but I live in NC and I won't be able to pass my car inspection unless the check engine light goes off. So I figured I'd attempt to fix it. Any who, there's tons of things on google for bank this...sensor that but I haven't found any articles or diagramming specifically stating where to locate the Bank 2/Sensor 1 oxygen sensor for a 2003 Lexus GS300. I believe if it's in a simple place I can fix it myself, but I'm open to any advice on how to fix it from those who have already been down this road.

No need to go to the dealership to do this. you should still be able to do this Job yourself. if you dont feel comfortable doing it, just go to a small mechanic shop and get it done. Dealership is not necessary for a o2 sensor replacement unless you feel like giving money away.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE will you people stop making new threads all the time....ALMOST EVERYTHING you need is in the 2GS FAQ located on the homepage or a link here

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...iy-thread.html

which has links to these

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...n-sensors.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...placement.html

and if you have a V8 and read those 2 threads then this one (located inside those) has the part #'s for us

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...2-sensors.html

just search for a few minutes and i mean actually search not claim you did so people will help you, eventually we just start ignoring you guys completely and wont help with anything
