But just to clarify, The Ultra bars in general dont have 100% fit as the Higher end 1 piece..But in general you have to remove the nuts, and lift the car to let the studs go down and be able to move for the massaging in of the bar.
I have done this on may one piece steel bars, from my Toms on my GS to my Ultra on my Rav4.

http://www.rhdjapan.com/search/?q=jzs161 strut
Greddy, Cusco, Carbing, Laile, bars your choice, and only $100~ or so. Just search the site for JZS161 and you'll find plenty.
At the top of the page you can change the currency to USD, most stuff ordered from rhdjapan comes in about a week using EMS or DHL and the shipping is very affordable.
Get legit Brand New parts quickly at reasonable prices from them, that coupled with all the US importers of used jdm parts there is still plenty if of authentic Aristo parts out there waiting.

Thanks.
I forgot to mention though, that 99 GS3 is right when it comes to searching Japanese sources. I find that searching for JZS161, JZS16, and "アリスト", or "16アリスト" in some combination yields the most results. Not a lot of performance parts are tagged JZS160 because the S300 was not a performance oriented model.

WOW, I had no idea so many people have strong opinions.
True solid braces require that you bring down the shock top hats. Reason is because the mounting point on the brace is at an angle. check out the IG at @ultraracing_usa, there is a sample of a brace being installed also with that design.

Yep, you gotta drop the shocks 1/2" to get clearance to put the bar on. I did the opposite. I jacked my car up from the center and it reduced the load off the shocks and the bar went it smooth like butter.
