Default 18 Years of GS evolution...

Albeit 18 years apart, both are beautiful in their own ways.

I envy the front of your car. looks brand new. no rock chips and extreme weathering. Must have been repainted. Looks super clean.

Awesome comparison, you are right that they are years apart, yet they are more alike in many ways. Clean lines, aggressive front end, even the double oval headlights are a timeless design on this vehicle

Thomas, your post is quite poignant for me as I run a GS300, bought 18 years ago and a 2014 GS250 F-Sport. Each are in regular use and are a pleasure to own and drive.

Got to hand it to Lexus. They take a perfect car and develop it to be even better!

Man your 1998 is beautiful. Is the 2016 the GS-F with the V8???

What's really great about your old 1998 is that if you compare the fit/finish, interior quality, the wood trim, the plastic bits, the leather on the seats, the way the door goes thunk when you close it, its every bit as nice, if not in some ways better than the new 2016 car.

Wow it looks like those two cars can be sold side by side in the dealership lot. The 2gs has aged really well
