1998 gs 400 w/JDM motor and wiring harness

HELP.....
1998 GS400 replaced engine with JDM motor and harness.
Original wiring harness damaged.
Can the JDM engine wiring harness be used or is the American wiring harness required. Need some direction on what I should do .

There wasn't a JDM equivalent of the GS 400, so I would wager that it is probably different.

If any member has an 1998 GS400 engine wiring harness for sale or knows where I can purchase one, it would greatly appreciated.

Well there were no wiring harness for GS 400 to be found,,,So I took the road less traveled . I repaired the old harness . I should be finished this weekend ...This was a major pain in the *** ,but the light can be seen at the end of the tunnel. I will post some pics give some thoughts and ask some questions
