Just saying hi and looking for any unsolicited advice on air intakes (drop in or complete intake) and/or exhausts. Will probably just get a K&N drop in for now. Wheels and tires are next year.
Yes, I searched and read all I could on this air filter versus that air filter but after reading 1000 posts I could take no more thus if any would like to provide their opinions that is fine otherwise I`ll keep reading.

My father died last year and I am taking over his 98 silver GS400. It has 30k miles and has basically sat in his garage for most of its life. He ordered an LS400 sight unseen before anybody even knew what the hell a Lexus was. He was a smart man. I will continue to keep his car in pristine condition making only minor mods such as the aforementioned items and driving my POS Ford Exploder on the crappy days.

My first mod was to hardwire the V1 to the homelink wires up in the map light area.

I just sold my black `99 M Coupe and my black 2000 Integra Type R in early 2002. Didn`t want to sell either of them but the Type R put me into the wrong crowd, it couldn`t be parked out of sight due to the high school thieves running around these days. Great car. Unbelievable handling for a FWD. The M had to be sold to make room for the Lexus and my wife and I had a baby on the way so a two-door sports car without a back seat wouldn`t compute with the missus.

And also, if anyone has any DIY`s that has probably been overloked over the years I`d appreciate any suggestions. ( such as fixing a rattle - I do have a "click, click" in the rear of the sunroof/headliner area when I have the cover pushed back and I encounter a bump or curve etc - very weird noise that I`d like to fix ).
I am an apprentice DIY`er and know how to do brakes, oil, tires, tear down an interior, etc.

So anyway.....got long winded there.......hi.
