Just got an unbeleavable deal on a Jade 99 GS 300. I bought this after selling my 94 Twin Turbo Supra. I know this is basically the same engine as the non turboed supra + Vvti. What are the best initial mods say for less than 5 grand or so? Is it worth replacing the stock sub with an aftermarket and not touching the rest of the stereo?

I say get the suspension upgraded....are you into looks or performance?

 

I kept my Supra stock looking and I will probably do the same with this car. I like fast cars that drive like luxury cars with great sound systems. Overall I think the GS 300 looks great stock, though I have not seen much in the way of kits and such. Where should I start, if performance and luxury are my key interests?

 

Definitely suspension first. A set of coilovers and some bracing will do wonders for the car. Some wheels would be nice but not a must since you said you like the stock look. Are you running the stock 16s or 17s?
