Hi LandyachtQ,

First, Welcome to the club.

Second, Forgive the question, Why you have to install a header on your car? You need a header or exhaust manifold?

Third, You maybe can use it, but the end of the header turn just a little be to the center of the car. The GS one turn just a little more to the passenger door. Why or how this happen is because the configuration of the "Y" pipe or mid pipe. The IS car have only one single muffler and our cars have two. The GS mid pipe turn more to the passenger side because the configuration of the mid pipe. That is the reason why you maybe and I say maybe after you install that IS header, need to go to the muffler show and the guy there need to modify just a little be you mid pipe. Believe me, I learned that the hard way. Thanks God that I can return it and found one of the GS.

Four, In our cars there two type of headers The header from 1998 to 2000 are completely different from 2001 to 2005 GS. So Be careful with that too.

Good luck
