Low idle on my 99 gs300
I currently replaced my alternator with a 200 Amp alternator to power up my sound system in my car. The problem I'm having is that I don't get the full 14.4 voltage out of the alternator @ idle because my idle is like at 100-200 rpms very low but no ruff idle or it doesn't die out. Also my a/c doesn't wanna work at a complete I'm guessing because of the low idle but when I'm moving its working perfect. Has anyone experienced this? Can someone tell me what the idle should be at? I'd like to fix this ASAP. Thanks

Take a quick picture of your idle

your idle is low, check your hoses for a vacuum leak.... your idle should be higher with the AC on.. when you check your hoses be sure to check under the clamps.
also your idle in the first picture is 500 and 400 in the 2nd picture, you're reading the rpm gauge incorrectly.

I'm barely getting into the 2GS scene so I'll let someone else answer this for you.. I think I know the answer but would hate to be wrong
from what I've read it could be your TB needs cleaning, vacuum leak, clogged injectors, etc.. at 400 your car doesn't feel like its going to die? What part of california are you in? I can refer you to my local mechanic if need be.
