soon i will be reaching the 200k mark on my 00 GS

its in need of a major tune up
should i spend the money or getting a Rebuilt Eng instead?

I just passed 219,700 miles on my '99 GS4 and haven't had an issue. Just keep an eye on the fluids and you'll be fine.

Btw, I'm still running on the original spark plugs...

Not sure about what you mean by a major tune up but apart from a change of belts and plugs, everything is self sufficient. That's the theory, anyway.

Kevin, running on the original plugs at 220k is nothing to brag about! I changed mine recently which was well overdue and the increase in performance is amazing. It's a bit of a sod (on a 300 anyway) as the inlet manifold needs to come off and the last plug is not all that accessible.
