Default Will there be a 2004 GS 430?

Redesign issues aside, does anyone know if there will be a release of a 2004 GS 430, before the newly designed model is released early next year, presumably as a 2005? My lease on my GS 400 is up in one month, and I was thinking of extending it a bit ( I have up to 6 months if I choose) to wait for a 2004 model. But, no point in doing that if a 2004 GS430 won't be coming out. Thanks for your help!

Excellent question, samfink, and one that I don't think has come up in all the discussions of "when", "anybody seen.......?", "here's a pic........no, it's not" regarding the 3rd gen GS. Unfortunately, without something of a firm answer to the "when", I don't think there can be a good answer to your "Will there be......?". But skipping a model year would certainly seem to be a possibility........

I actually asked that question in a couple posts with regards to what exactly would change, if at all in the last year of this model. Would they do a minor refresh, or simply move around or reprice some packages ?I had asked because I was hoping to see maybe one more version of the rear lenses, since the first ones were out for 3 years (98-00) and the 2nd gen would be the same for 4 years (01-04).

Would is surprise anyone if they simply released the exact same car with no changes and called it a new 2004 model, just to raise the price?

I'm not saying that's what is planned, but it sure wouldn't surprise me.
