I live in th UK. One Lexus dealer quoted me about $35 for one. Apparently he ordered it and they sent him a black one. So he then had to go and order the whole unit, he said when it came it came with the whole gear plate too, so he sneakily swapped the new balck bezel for the chrome one and sent it back to the warehouse.
So I'm not sure if I was just lucky! But I got it!!
If ayone in the USA is really desperate why not try a breaker/scapyard. If not then give me a shout if you are seriously needing one like life or death I could try.
I also asked the dealer to price me up a LS430 Cooler Unit so I could get it custom fitted in my GS300, buyt they werent keen, and fobbed me off saying it was "hard to get" and very expensive. That would be a cool add-on.

I just ordered an (original Toyota parts) chrome bezel for my GS300 at a local Toyota performance parts store. I paid about USD40 for it. They said they have plenty of them. I am not sure if it will also fit your GS, since it said for RHD (and the partno was different than that for the LHD).

i want one of those chrome bezels , can you get one for me there would be a finders fee and a special extra surprise if you could get 2 of them
the newer gs series come with a chrome emblem on the airbag , how would you like a wood and chrome emblem mounted on your airbag. a friend of mine designed it and mounted one on my 99 gs 400 and his 98 gs 400 , nobody has ever seen this before totally custom but look oem
i will be posting pics of our cars very shortlty and they are both hooked up .
