I'm trying to do the right thing here and give the seller (non-eBay, but someone on ClubLexus) a little time to make peace with misleading me and selling me a fake roof spoiler. Yes, it WAS broken when I received it in its cardboard box and spoiler put in a plastic bag (no padding, whatsoever).

There's no need to start the fire........yet.

The person has not emailed me back since I've referred him to this thread (which shows that not one person so far thinks that this roof spoiler is legit). He also "conveniently" lost his receipt showing that this was L-Sportline.

I'm imploring for the person to make amends with me.

Gee, I wonder who voted that it is indeed real after 17 people voted it to be a definite fake.

This is definately a fake spoiler without question.

The material of the l-sportline roof spoiler is kind of spongy and has some flex to it. It wouldn't snap so easily. Also, on the under side of the spoiler, there is a hollow cavity that runs the length of the spoiler. It also as the word Lexus written inside the cavity itself.

I just installed this exact same spoiler on my car 3 days ago. Without a doubt this is fake and seems like the roof spoiler is made entirely for another car.

For those of you who voted that you think it's real, represent and tell what makes this roof spoiler real.

What makes the evidence and pictures that many other CL members have provided incorrect?

Come on, Mike Todd. What makes this roof spoiler authentic? I want to see YOUR receipt. Not one that's been fabricated post-sale.

Default FAKE Roof Spoiler , 100%

Hi, I don't post much...but I ordered that exact same lame/non-fitting "Roof Spoiler" from a seller on ebay it came primed...the second I got it out of the box I test fitted it on my car, and it "Fit" (If you would call it that) the exact worthless way the one in the pic shows. BUT when I purchased it off Ebay ATLEAST the seller had the courtesy of stating that it was a "replica" roof spoiler......I figured for a buck fifty..i couldn't go wrong.... Guess what? I WAS wrong... So long story short I re-listed it on ebay took a $30 hit, and got rid of a useless piece of plastic......
One..

At least you had the ability to resell yours because it probably didn't come packaged like this
