01 GS300; Won't go into "program mode"
I've gone through the procedure to program a new key fob several times but the car just won't go into its "programmable mode." Both of my passenger side lock motors are dead, could this be the issue? I ordered the lil motors to fix them so I will try again after that regardless but I just wanted to know if anyone else with dead lock motors have had issues with getting the car into "program mode" to program a key fob.
PS I've tried cycling the locks both automatically and manually, although, I haven't tried cycling the dead passenger side locks along with the others. Can't reach them!

Yes, the dead motors are the problem. If you have others in the car with you to do it manually, it will work... However, its pointless because even though you program it all, they wont open with the key.

Naw, not too difficult. Just need a little patience. The only part that will be slightly challenging is the removal and reinstall of the door handle. I swapped the whole assembly in like 30 minutes. But the entire job took me 3 hours LMAO! I couldnt figure out why I couldnt get the window back in!!! Just make sure the window is on the rails properly

The first page might be helpful but after that I would read the newest posts first because that's where all the easier tips are at. The rears can be removed 5 minutes. No removing the door handle or window. The fronts take a little longer. It's easier to take off the door handle on those but after you do the first one you might be able to do the second one leaving the door handle on. Also I would disconnect the battery because sometimes the windows roll down on there own when your disconnecting things
