Default 2nd Gen GS on 19" Fsport full faced wheels

Hi to all! I just got my 98 GS300 2 weeks and decided to get wheels as my first upgrade. I came across an amazing deal for 19" Fsport full faced wheels in CL. Has anybody tried this before? Should I have any issues with fitment? What do you guys recommend for tire size? Thank you in advance.

Not yet but will be. I'll just do a mild conservative drop.

I'd like to do a mild drop as well. Are you just going to be getting springs?

Yeah the car is my daily driver plus my toddler rides with me. Thinking of getting some Eibach springs just like what i had on my previous cars

You should expect no issues with fitment.

These wheels will be coming with tires. 235/40/19 fronts and 265/35/19 rears. Am I still good?

You're good. I had 245/40/19 (or maybe it was 245/45..?) up front and it rubbed but only cause I was dropped on DF210 springs. They have the lowest drop for the 2GS as far as just springs go. If you're going for a more conservative drop, you should not have any problems.

The wheels fit but you will need spacers to make them flush. I have a set of +15 coming in to finish them off.

Thank you so much for the pic. Definitely this will be the look I'm going for. What size are your tires? What suspension do you have? Lastly, is it safe to use spacers?

They are definitely the best looking affordable forged wheels on the market for a OEM but updated look for a car that is nearly 20 years old! Tire specs are 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear. The drop is from Lexus L Tuned (same springs as the eibachs) with KYB GR2 shocks which are the same shocks as the Lexus L Tuned shocks. In regards to spacers being safe or not it's debatable... However, the spacers I purchased are hubcentric to both my car and these OEM wheels that are already hubcentric to our Lexus centerbore. You can research b2 designs spacers for their V2 series. The spacer bolts to your existing wheel bolts and comes with new bolts and hubcentric lip to mount your wheel. Here is an example...

I appreciate all the information perry05g35! I'm really new to the Lexus scene and all these information helps a lot. With regards to spacers, I don't think I'll be able to risk it just because it's my daily driver and my toddler rides with me everyday. Do you think it'll look awkward without the spacers? How did you end up choosing the tire size? Would that be the closest to OEM specs? That's what I'm really aiming for.
