1998 Gs300 P1126 with functioning Iac
I apologize for making a second post on this but my title and details were all mixed up and I don't think anyone wants to read through it all to help diagnose. Delete if not allowed.
Trouble code:
P1126 and a intermittent P1128
Current issue:
No Start.
Symptoms:
1. Acting as if out of fuel while accelerating. 2. NO limp mode. 3. Was running and accelerating only on carb cleaner when throttle was pressed. 4. Car will no longer run on carb cleaner after sitting for 3 months.
Diagnosis:
Test resistance of IAC. Tested Ok.
Test continuity between motor and ECU. Tested Ok.
Now here is the big thing. Final diagnosis I pulled the IAC off because it hummed with ignition On and wanted to see if gear was turning. Upon pulling throttle cable with ignition on, The motor turned. However it only would turn the motor once then go back and not doing anything else after pulling cable again.
Shouldn't the motor keep moving back and forth with me pulling throttle back and forth?
If so, could this possibly be a faulty tps? Is there a fuse or relay that could cause this behavior?
TIA!

Il check out the wire and diagram tomorrow and get back to you. there is also another check you need to do Il let you know tom. Im really sorry you situation is staying so long.

This check is important, the pedal position sensor connector check pin #3 with pin#4 on the tps connector (brown wire) should have continuity. Also that wire should have continuity to ground. On the pedal connector pin #4 should have continuity with pin #1 on the tps connector.(blue and yellow wire. Perform these checks and get back to me.
