Whats up guys, my first car 10 years ago was a cinnabar GS300. It had the worst luck ever. Had 2 other GS300s after that, but I always missed the cinnabar one. I found a cinnabar red GS in good conditions so I had to get it. I'll be using this thread to update the progress.
My first mod which I did the very next day after getting it was swapping out the tan for black interior. Cinnabar GS
never came with black interior in the US so I think I'm one of the few with red/black.
Before:
in- between:
After, so much better, the wood wheel, ashtray and shifter really help out.
I then did what I call the "Lexus GS MOD Starter Pack" which includes debadging the trunk, chroming out the grill, HID headlights, and LED lights all round.
A must for me is dropping it. Here she is before.. Looking like an off road truck
After the Megan EZ Street coilover install.
Was going to do a full detail yesterday but the weather didn't permit. I swear these cars clean up nice.
I have a full UAS air suspension kit which I'm debating on using and I'll eventually get into performance mods later on.
Hey, where in Texas are you? Parting out the leather seat covers? I need the passenger side covers - top and bottom, if they're in good condition. Also the rear deck cover behind the rear seat if it doesn't have the third brake light hole.
nice to see you back, that black interior looks good on the cinnabar.... as socal said though do something with the headliner and pillars and it will be good
Nice work! Getting that interior swap completed has got to be so satisfying.
Thanks, it really was. Took me a total of 5 hours. I took my time and made sure to label each screw.

Yeah, it looks kinda funky now. Black with gray headliner and pillars flow, tan not so much. I plan on doing the roof in leather. You should keep it! These cars are timeless, plus it's hard to get back the time and money put into it.

It's good to be back in these forums, and thanks. I will as soon as the weather clears up!
