can someone please help me ,i have a 2002 gs300 I was told that I only need 3 spark plug wires ,but even though I require 6 spark plugs because 6 cylinder engine ,I was told I only need 3 wires because of something about how the ignition coils connect to the plugs too ,do I need 3 spark plug wires or 6 spark plug wires ? Please help

It's three. If you were to go out and buy new wires they would only sell you three because that's how many the car has.

IIRC as said above, yes 3, however when you purchase the kit, I believe it also contains new boots and retainers for the coil packs.

The VVT-i 2JZ-GE engine uses a wasted spark coil-on-plug setup. 3 of the spark plugs have the coil mounted right onto them, then there are 3 wires connecting each coil to one other spark plug. So as was said, you will only need 3 plug wires.
