Cool Hi All

Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I recently bought a 99 GS300 back in January with 60k miles on it.

Now that it's warmer here in Chicago, I'm looking to do some modifications to it on the weekends.

Here are some questions I have (Sorry If they've been asked before, but I'm dying to learn more about this car! Thx all for any feedback! =)

1. Is there a stock ride height difference between a 1999 GS300 versus a GS400? I want to upgrade my stock 16" Chrome Lexus Rims to maybe a 18" or 17" GS430 rims. I'm not looking to lower the GS300 just yet, but what's the biggest set of rims you can fit onto a GS300 with stock suspension?

2. I really like the new 2003 GS taillights, anyone know of a good site I can order a pair for cheap?

3. I've ordered my HID upgrade from XenonDepot.com, and I can't wait to install them...I will post pics..has anyone ever purchased and installed XenonDepot's HID's???

4. I've had Air Intakes in many of my previous cars, the sound in the cabin is prretty intense! How much of an increase in cabin noise would you notice with an Air Intake install on a GS300?

5. Anyone have a fully outfitted Exhaust system which is pretty close to Stock db noise output???

6. Were there any Factory Lexus Bodykits for the GS300/400, like side-skirts, front-lip, rear-lip, etc ? (Not talking about L-Tuned here)

Thx again for your feedback!

Steve Gantz is a good start. Call and talk to Him or Gordon or Angel. I learned that from reading and getting answers here. Good luck and I hope you find what your looking for.

welcome bud, and i hate to say it, but the search button is your best friend. CL's got a pretty strong knowledge base within the posts, more than you need or want to know at times

good luck getting your car up to your specs
