Pearl white paint yellowing
Well, the lower portion of the car seems to have finally changed color. When it goes in for the 30k service I've got one more thing to add to my list of issues. TSB PA002-99 should cover it. Just a fyi for those that have GS' with the white pearl paint jobs.

yes, it's an old, new, topic. In fact, I didn't know there could be a problem until Jan 2003 when I read a post in CL about it.

I have the same "yellowing problem" with my 98 GS4.
It's really pissin me off!!!!! My car's out of warranty and the best that Lexus could do is offer the parts (pre-painted from the factory) for a 15% discount.
The total for the molding and the cladding on the bottom of the doors is still over $2000!
There's got to be a solution to this, the paint is defective regardless of the car's mileage....

You could probably have your entire car repainted for a little more then that. My car is still under warranty so I hope they will repaint it. The problem is that I have some bumper damage from street parking so I will have to cut some kind of deal with them for their replacement.
