Weird problem w/ Check, VSC, VSC OFF
Hello Gang !!!
Just wanna pick yer collective brains ..:-) ..
I got a 98 GS300 ..
With the weather getting warmer, after I have driven on the Highway for a length of time,
I notice the following symtoms ..
The follwoing three lights on the Dash board Diagnostics come on:
Check, VSC and VSC OFF
This doen not seem to affect driving...
Any one seen this ???
If so, what is the fix ????

I would recommend taking your car to the dealership, it probably needs a new speed sensor at one of the wheels. This thread may be of some help to you!

Hey JPSEO,
Okay I had the same type of readings on my gauges. Only difference is that I had low idle at times. Now it could be your speed sensor like GS430 guy said, but if you are experiencing low idle it is a blown valve. Go to the dealer and hopefully you still have a warranty on your car? The "VSC" and "VSC OFF" is just a back up to your "CHECK". That was explained to me by my Service Manager. Hope that helps you out, but when in doubt take it to the dealership.
