I thought I remembered reading that the O2 sensors should be replaced in pairs. I can't remember if the pairs should be both the pre-cat or post-cat, or if the pairs should be both of the sensors on one Bank. In other words, should I change both the Bank 1 sensor 1 and Bank 2 sensor 1 at the same time, or should I change the Bank 1 sensor 1 and Bank 1 sensor 2 at the same time?
Depends on how many miles you have. My first O2 sensor failed at 80K and it was just the heater circuit. Next one failed at 185K and I just went ahead and did all 4.
Yeah no reason to do them all when one goes as other posters said. I would just because the next one will probably go soon but you don't need if unless you want.
